7 in a Sequence

The building is split for two seven obstacle sequences to work handling for jump chutes, pinwheels, contacts and weaves at speed. Teams can focus on all or part of each course. Turns are timed, and this class is 1.5 hours long.

Prerequisites: Successful completion of Beginner 3

Agility Skill Building

Identify a few skills for additional focus specific to your team. These could be skills not completely mastered in Beginner 3 such as proofing contact end performance, drive to end at teeter, weaves entries, improving obstacle or handler focus. Practice on two 8 obstacle courses with timed turns so teams can either work the entire course or focus on specific skills.

Prerequisites: Beginner 3 Agility and a full height dogwalk and A-frame

Handling 1

This class reinforces handling moves and how to best use handling options for 5-6 obstacle sequences

Prerequisites: Beginner 3 Agility

Handling 2

This class reinforces handling moves and how to best use handling options on longer sequences of 8-12 obstacles. This class will introduce discriminations, distance handling and layering, backsides and more sophisticated handling skills. This class prepares students for entry level competition courses.

Prerequisites: Successful completion of Handling 1

Advanced Handling

Full courses are set up using the entire floor but the courses may be broken into smaller segments to work on specific skills.

Prerequisites: Successful completion of Handling 1 and solid contacts
