These classes are designed to focus on specific advanced obedience skills and are recommended for handlers and dogs who are looking to improve their performance in trial settings.
Obedience Concepts and WCRL Rally Obedience Class:
Prerequisites: Dogs must have completed the Obedience 2 class or equivalent. This class is for dogs who already know how to perform the commands of sit, down, stand, stay, recall, heel and should be familiar with right and left finishes.
Rally is an interactive dog sport that requires teamwork between dog and handler along with performance skills that mirror traditional obedience. In this class, you will learn how to correctly perform the WCRL Rally exercises, learn about the rules, regulations and scoring of the exercises and experience rally courses of varying difficulty.
In the Obedience Concepts class, you will continue advancing your dogs’ obedience skills while working on the concepts of heeling and the more advanced obedience exercises.
Teamwork and fun will be emphasized in this class!
